you guarantee the quality of the work? |
| Upon final delivery you’ll
receive a free warranty — typically, 60-120
days based on the size and scope of your project.
After the warranty period, you may opt to purchase
one of a number of different monthly or quarterly
support/maintenance agreements. |

you require long term contracts or do you have a
month-to-month option? |
| Our contracts are very straight-forward,
and are based on a month-to-month contract with
fifteen days notice to terminate. |
| Do
your resources speak English? |
| All of our resources are English
speaking, college educated, and have excellent communications
skills. |
| What
is your company staff? |
| We have 150 technical employees
with 3 to 15 years working experience . All the
developers hold University degrees in applied mathematics
and/or computer science. Most of them are fluent
in English (written and spoken). We would like to
emphasize the experience we have in recruiting,
so our staff is really outstanding with valuable
expertise at a competitive price |
| Is
project management included? |
| We are able to provide customers
with experienced US based project managers.
However many customers engage their own project
management. In this case
a project coordinator from our site works free of
charge for you. |
| Who
does the testing and other QA? |
| Contact Offshore specializes in independent,
systematic testing, verification, and quality assurance
and performs the lion’s share of the organization’s
QA. However, we have QA departments with specialists,
in-house, at each of the other main campuses. In
addition, each development team has an embedded
tester who starts the testing process from project
initiation, and continues frequent testing until
successful product completion. |
| What
if a bug shows up? |
| We follow a comprehensive
bug-identification process. We assess the problem
and assign status based on a 3-point priority scale.
All urgent bug-correction issues are considered
priority-1, and are addressed immediately. |
| How
do I pay for the resources I hire? |
| We bill every two weeks. Payment
is then due via check or wire transfer. All payments
are made to our home office in Irving, TX. |
| What
assurance do we have our software won't end-up in
a competitor's hands? |
| Every member of Contact Offshore is
required to sign a confidentiality (non-disclosure)
agreement. Current laws in the countries where we
develop stand behind such contracts with real teeth,
providing strict punishment should an individual
transgress. |
| If
I hire three resources and want two more, how soon
can I get more resources? |
| Generally, for unscheduled
events, we can have resources available within one
to two weeks. |
| If
I hire three resources and want to scale back to
one, is there any fee for that? |
| No. We require a fifteen day
notice to discontinue service, in order for us to
budget effectively. |
| Can
you continue doing my project from any stage? |
| We can start a project from
any stage; we can design, code, and test. We are
experienced in continued development and performance
tuning. . |
| Can
you provide ongoing software maintenance? |
| Yes, we are pleased to offer
separate support/maintenance contracts for any software
we design. Feature enhancements or new development,
however, are handled as separate contracts. We also
support and maintain software created by other vendors. |
| Can
I be sure that the charges are fair and the project
is being done properly? |
| Our customers can monitor every
development stage. There are material results for
every stage and our customers can see and review
them. If required, we can provide an employee who
will be in charge of Accounting and Status Reporting.
The final scope of work is determined at the beginning
of development and approved by you. And the additional
reason is that we are keen to develop and maintain
a long-term working relationship with our customers. |
